Nestled along the poetic Thu Bon River, the Poolbar project at Moire Hoi An (formerly Bay Resort Hoi An) enjoys an exceptional location. This inherent advantage laid a successful foundation, allowing our architects to craft a design that feels both effortless and purposeful.
Inspired by the tropical essence of Hoi An—its swaying coconut palms and lush greenery—we introduced a 'Tropical Modernism' touch to soften the rigid architectural lines and warm color palette of the heritage town. By utilizing materials like oak, rattan, and polished concrete, we defined a clear direction for this vital element of the Moire Hoi An master plan.
Every seating arrangement is thoughtfully oriented towards the river and the resort's core, utilizing clever spatial navigation. The visual axis of the pool culminates at the open-concept bar. With its oak timber structure and polished concrete counters, the bar serves as a gentle focal point—a relaxed, unforced conclusion to a serene landscape journey.
